Meet your photographer, Maija!

 Maija is a professional photographer based in the Ottawa area.

She is on a mission to tell your story through life’s celebrations. Whether it be your personal or professional life, Maija strives to be by your side to capture all your great moments. Maija is big on family - and this doesn’t just stop at her immediate family. She truly desires to connect deeply with good people around her. This desire to meet people where they are and allow them to shine is exactly why Maija has created such a warm and supportive community around her.

She is passionate about going the extra mile for friends and family alike. Once you meet Maija, you will feel the warm and genuine energy she exudes. No project is too small, no idea too silly and certainly no moment too fleeting to capture.

Maija wants to go further than just taking your photos. She has created a business that allows her to go above and beyond. She spends the time with her clients to really get to know them and ask the question ‘what are you thinking?’’ to truly understand their vision. She asks pointed and thoughtful questions to ensure that she is making their dreams come true.

Maija grew up in Sudbury, ON., a small-ish town that values close relationships and a connection to nature. Her interests include yoga, cooking and eating whole foods, researching all-natural household products for her husband and young daughter, and gardening to grow her own food (when she isn’t chasing her toddler around). She enjoys visiting the family camp, hiking with her two dogs and taking overly-hot Saunas.
